The Comelit VEDO APP represents an advanced solution for remote management of VEDO series control units and connected cameras, offering enhanced operational oversight. This application enables users to access their Comelit VEDO intruder alarm systems remotely, providing real-time visual monitoring and control functionalities.

• Ability to arm and disarm the system by selecting operating scenarios and designated areas.
• Resetting sirens and managing telephone call functions.
• Generating various alarms, including intruder alerts, emergency notifications, and fire warnings.
• Enabling or disabling outputs such as lighting and gate controls.
• Receiving notifications for system events and status updates.
• Monitoring system status across zones and areas.
• Managing Analog and IP series 100 and 700 cameras, including live streaming, pop-up alarm notifications, video recording, screenshot capture, and browsing or sharing stored multimedia content.
• Pre-alarm video recording capabilities for IP cameras and select analog cameras.
• Enhanced event and alarm log memory for improved record access.
• Implementation of a proximity key lock feature for additional security.

The app also provides instant video pop-up alerts in response to alarms, allowing users to verify events swiftly—distinguishing between false alarms and genuine threats—and to issue appropriate commands directly from the alert interface. Additionally, the VEDO APP supports local audio communication via intercom functions between smartphones or tablets connected to the system.

Integration with home automation systems is facilitated through compatibility with the Serial Bridge device, broadening control capabilities within connected building environments. It is important to note that the VEDO APP is compatible exclusively with intruder control units of the Comelit VEDO series starting from version 2.2.0. Some advanced features become accessible when connected to main units running firmware version 2.4.x or higher.
